How to convert PNG to JPG

- Adjust the settings if you want to.
- Select Convert to JPG, then download your images.
Good to know
- JPG can't store transparency. Transparent areas are filled with white, or with a color you choose.
- Use the quality slider to trade file size against sharpness. 80–90 suits most photos.
- For screenshots, logos and text, PNG often looks sharper than JPG.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Your browser converts them on your device. Your images are not sent to Filecon's servers.
Is photo information like location removed?
Yes. The converted image contains only the picture. Hidden details such as GPS location, camera model and date are not copied into the new file. Photos are turned the right way up first.
Can I convert several images at once?
Yes, up to 50 images (20 MB each). Download them one by one or together as a ZIP. If one file can't be converted, the others still are.
