- Many websites save images as WebP. Some older apps can't open WebP, but they can open JPG.
- Transparent parts of a WebP image are filled with white, or a color you choose.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Your browser converts them on your device. Your images are not sent to Filecon's servers.
Is photo information like location removed?
Yes. The converted image contains only the picture. Hidden details such as GPS location, camera model and date are not copied into the new file. Photos are turned the right way up first.
Can I convert several images at once?
Yes, up to 50 images (20 MB each). Download them one by one or together as a ZIP. If one file can't be converted, the others still are.
