How to split a PDF

  1. Choose a PDF.
  2. Type the page ranges you want as separate files, such as 1-3, 4-8, 9, or choose how many pages go in each file.
  3. Check the list of files that will be created, then select Split PDF.
  4. Download each file, or all of them together as a ZIP.

Good to know

  • Each range becomes its own PDF, named after the pages it contains.
  • To save just some pages as one PDF, use Extract PDF pages instead.
  • One PDF at a time, up to 25 MB and 300 pages.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Your browser does the work on your device. Your documents are not sent to Filecon's servers.
Why won't my PDF open?
Password-protected or locked PDFs can't be opened. Remove the protection in the app you normally use, then try again. Damaged files can't be opened either.
